Iran-China relations were expected to resume after a few centuries of relative hiatus during the first Pahlavi period. Business people, to restore ties at this point, made economic relations, especially the tea trade, the focus of their efforts. The main question, which was conducted with a descriptive-analytical approach and based on the contents of the unpublished documents of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Library and Document Center, as well as some sources and research, is that the attempt to revive the economic relations between Iran and China during the Pahlavi period was first Especially the tea trade was formed based on what factors and how did it continue and what was the result? The research findings show that efforts to establish relations between the two countries are affected by factors such as the emergence of two military figures in Iran and China and their need to gain international credit and economic benefits for Iranian and Chinese business people.
